“Lanbirds Migration in Djibouti"

Mathieu Mahamoud Issa has obtained his PhD in Biological sicences, specialized in bioacoustics in Poland. Since 2024, he works for the DECAN association, a local NGO in Djibouti. His current work focuses on monitoring the antelopes population in protected areas in Djibouti, mangrove restoration and ringing birds during migration.

Mathieu Mahamoud Issa est titulaire d'un doctorat en sciences biologiques, spécialisé en bioacoustique, obtenu en Pologne. Depuis 2024, il travaille pour l'association DECAN, une ONG locale basée à Djibouti. Ses travaux actuels portent sur le suivi des populations d'antilopes dans les aires protégées de Djibouti, la restauration des mangroves et le baguage des oiseaux migrateurs.
